I've made a friend
Elena is a lovely host. Her ability to switch languages and accomodate for you is amazing! She is very thorough...it may seem overwhelming at first BUT definitely pay attention. You will be glad you did. Elena is not merely your host during your stay, she is your friend.
Very little I didn't like. It was humid during my stay but that's Buenos Aires in February.

Awesome
Highly recommend Petit Hotel el Vitraux! The place is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, the port, parks and much more. Elena is a fantastic host. She is a well-informed and culturally aware conversationalist. Elena is also super knowledgeable about things to do and places to dine in BA. Her recommendations certainly enriched our experiences in BA. What's more! Her garden is frequented by hummingbirds and two lovely cats add much characters to the place. If you are not a cat person, nothing to worry at all. They don't bother you and stay away from your room. I am not much of a cat person, but love Elena's cats. There is so much more to be said about this place. In short, we'd stay here again if we are ever in Buenos Aires again.
There's no AC in the hotel, and it can feel pretty warm and humid during summer nights. But we had a fan in the room, which helped a lot!

Warmth all around in a cosy place
Petit El Vitraux Elena A lovely home stay and a warm, jovial Host After a long flight from India to Argentina, and arriving at Buenos Aires late in the night, I couldn’t have asked for a better welcome than the one by Elena of Petit El Vitraux. She had proactively started communicating with me weeks before my scheduled trip, passing on every small bit of information that may be required for my trip. Tired after a long journey, her infectious energy rubbed off on me and we stayed up late in the night chatting after I checked in. Didn’t seem that we had just met then, Elena made me feel comfortable from the start. Her home and the rooms have a warm feel and are well furnished. The dinning room and open patio was a place to make new friends with the other guests over good breakfast and lovely coffee. To the extent that instead of rushing out early in the morning to tick off the sightseeing checklist, we sat around and spend time catching up with each other. Bathroom/toilet was not attached to the room but common to all, however was extremely clean and hygienic and there was never a rush for the same. The location was also very convenient. Elena walked with me to the ATMs and bus stop to show me around and was always ready to discuss and suggest the best things I could do in Buenos Aires based on my preferences. If I go back to Buenos Aires, Petit El Vitraux is where I d definitely stay again.

Warm and welcoming
Small cosy place, art nouveau style, nice rooms. Very friendly owner, fluently speaking English and French, very helpful. Nicely located with sweet little bars & restaurants nearby.
